DESCRIPTION:The Christian County Sheriff’s Office invites citizens to a FREE Neighborhood Watch Training on November 14th\, 2024\, from 6pm-9pm at 701 West 7th Street in Hopkinsville! \nNeighborhood Watch: A Proven Crime Prevention Strategy \nAccording to the U.S. Department of Justice\, active neighborhood watch programs have been shown to reduce crime rates by 16-20% in participating communities. Recognizing the critical role residents play in maintaining public safety\, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office is committed to fostering a collaborative approach to crime prevention. By partnering law enforcement expertise with engaged citizens\, we aim to create safer\, more secure communities free from violence\, substance abuse and theft.
