Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Nebraska man Tuesday afternoon after he allegedly burglarized a home on Crofton Fruit Hill Rd.
According to the arrest citation, the suspect, 29-year-old Quillan Cannon of Blair, Nebraska was spotted on the Pennyrile Parkway at around 5:00 pm after a description was given out to officers of his possible involvement in a burglary that occurred in the 1000 block of Crofton Fruit Hill Rd.
A Kentucky State Police Trooper spotted the vehicle matching the description traveling southbound on the Pennyrile Parkway and attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle refused to stop for authorities and proceeded to flee. Deputy Johnny Colon joined in on the pursuit and was able to stop the vehicle utilizing a pursuit intervention technique (PIT) after the vehicle crossed the median and tried to go northbound on the parkway at about the 15-mile marker.
There were no injuries and Cannon was taken into custody and charged with the following:
- Burglary 3rd Degree
- Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree (motor vehicle)
