Christian County, KY-On April 21, 2025, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division began investigating a residential burglary after a homeowner reported stolen items from a vehicle parked in her attached garage in the area of Orten Drive in Hopkinsville.
Billy Sanders
Surveillance footage provided by the homeowner showed a suspect, later identified as 54-year-old Billy Sanders of Hopkinsville, unlawfully entering the garage through a partially open door. Once inside, Sanders removed a purse containing cash and debit/credit cards from the victim’s vehicle.
Based on prior encounters, detectives were able to positively identify Mr. Sanders. He has been charged with Burglary, 2nd Degree.
