CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY — A search warrant executed on May 19, 2025, at a residence on Hillside Terrace resulted in the arrest of one individual on multiple drug-related charges.

Following an ongoing narcotics investigation, deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of Hillside Terrace in Hopkinsville. During the search, suspected methamphetamine was found inside a purse belonging to 62-year-old Rachel Bagby of Hopkinsville, along with multiple small plastic baggies commonly used in drug trafficking.
Drug paraphernalia, including a digital scale, glass smoking pipes with marijuana residue, and a marijuana grinder, was also recovered from the area next to Bagby’s belongings.
Bagby was taken into custody and transported to the Christian County Jail. Upon intake, a body scan revealed concealed contraband. Jail staff recovered a small bag of marijuana and a small bag of methamphetamine hidden on Bagby’s person. A third item, believed to also be contraband, was detected but not recovered at the time of this report.
As a result, Bagby faces the following charges:

Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree (Methamphetamine, less than 2 grams)
