Christian County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Man for DUI and Related Charges

OAK GROVE, KY – On July 7, 2025, at approximately 11:13 PM, Christian County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 48-year-old Jason Dodrill of Clarksville, TN at the Exxon Fuel station on Fort Campbell Boulevard following a suspected DUI investigation.

Jason E. Dodrill

Deputies observed Dodrill seated in a vehicle with the driver’s door open and legs extended, prompting a check. Upon contact, Dodrill appeared argumentative, with bloodshot, glossy, and watery eyes—indicators of possible impairment. Dodrill refused a preliminary breath test and field sobriety tests, then repeatedly disobeyed orders to remain near the deputy’s patrol vehicle. During the arrest attempt, Dodrill resisted, tensing up and moving toward his vehicle, resulting in a struggle. With assistance from an Oak Grove Police officer, Dodrill was handcuffed. The deputy sustained minor injuries during the arrest.

Dodrill consented to a blood test and was transported to the Christian County Jail. He faces charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence (1st Offense), Obstructing Governmental Operations, Menacing, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct (2nd Degree).
