Hopkinsville, KY – On August 3, 2025, at approximately 9:31 PM, Christian County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 100 block of Empire Road. Following an investigation, 29-year-old Ronald E. Aldridge of Crofton was arrested.

Deputies interviewed the victim, who reported being in a dating relationship with Aldridge. The victim stated that Aldridge, who had been drinking, attempted to take her phone, leading to a physical altercation. A witness corroborated the victim’s account. A PlayStation 4, valued at approximately $200, was also damaged during the incident.
Aldridge was arrested and charged with:
- Strangulation 2nd Degree (Domestic Violence Related)
- Assault 4th Degree (Domestic Violence, No Visible Injury)
- Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree (Restitution/Repair)
Aldridge is in custody at the Christian County Jail.
