**Property Tax Info for 2025**
Property and Tangible Taxes will be mailed out Monday September 29th, 2025. The Christian County Sheriff’s Office will begin collection on October 1st, 2025.
Collection Dates will be:
October 1st- November 1st = 2% discount period
November 2nd – December 31st = Face amount period
(Please note: the office will be closed on December 31st, so if you’re trying to pay the face amount in person at the office, you must pay by Monday, the 30th of December.
ONLINE payments for face amount will still be accepted on the 31st. We will not accept face amount payments on Jan. 1st. There will be a 5% penalty added.)
January 1st – January 31st = 5% penalty added
February 1st – April 15th = 21% penalty added
