On October 28th, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Deputies from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address on Lafayette Road to serve an arrest warrant on 40-year-old Timothy Osiborski of Herndon, KY. The warrant included charges for Strangulation 2nd Degree (Domestic Violence), Assault 4th Degree (Domestic Violence), Unlawful Imprisonment 1st Degree, and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree.
While attempting to serve the warrant, Osiborski reversed his vehicle through the closed garage door at a high rate of speed, nearly striking Deputies on scene. In response to the immediate threat, Deputies discharged one round toward the suspects vehicle, who then fled the area. Osiborski also struck a Kentucky State Police cruiser while fleeing.
A short pursuit ensued, ending when Osiborski abandoned his vehicle and fled on foot into a nearby field on Mt. Vernon Church Road while armed with a firearm that was later determined to be a pellet gun after the arrest. Deputies, assisted by K9 Luca, were able to apprehend Osiborski without further incident. It was later determined that the vehicle he had been operating was reported stolen out of Tennessee.
During the arrest, Deputies located a small bag containing a substance believed to be cocaine on Osiborski. He was transported to the Christian County Jail, where he was charged with Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree (Motor Vehicle), Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Criminal Mischief 1st Degree, Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree (On Foot), Resisting Arrest, Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, Receiving Stolen Property, Reckless Driving, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Cocaine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and other traffic violations.
