On March 3rd, 2026 at approximately 6:00pm Deputies arrested 37-year-old James Austin of Hopkinsville, KY after a traffic stop. Austin was transported to the Christian County Jail and charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 2nd Offense or more (Methamphetamine), Promoting Contraband 1st Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Tampering with Physical Evidence and served two outstanding warrants.
