Man Injured In Madisonville Road Shooting

Update: Detectives have talked to multiple witnesses and reviewed video from the shooting, leading to the arrest of 19-year-old Kaiden Robinson of Central City, who is charged with tampering with physical evidence and several counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
The man who was injured in the shooting has been identified as 19-year-old Joshua Morris and remains in a Nashville hospital.
This is the first arrest in the investigation, but it is still ongoing.

 

Original release: On July 19th, 2026, at 2:01 am deputies were called to the 6900 block of Madisonville Road for a report of shots fired at a house party and found a 19-year-old man who was shot in the abdomen and three vehicles that had been hit.

The man was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to meet with a helicopter at Crofton Elementary School that took him to a Nashville hospital due to his injuries.

Detectives are interviewing several witnesses.
