On July 24th, 2026, deputies conducted a search warrant at a home on Florence Street in connection with a drug investigation.
Meth was found inside the home along with a gun.
The investigation led to the arrest of 32-year-old Jimmy Wells on charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed weapon, and first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.
