On July 27th, 2026, deputies were dispatched to Christian County Auto Salvage for a theft in progress.
The investigation led to the arrest of 55-year-old Phillip Anthony of Titusville, Pennsylvania, who the owner of the business stated drove through the fence and was loading rims into his truck to take.
Anthony is charged with first-degree criminal mischief, third-degree burglary, and theft by unlawful taking of parts from a vehicle. He also had a warrant for non-payment of court costs.
