On July 29th, 2026, at 9:15 am deputies arrested 51-year-old Clarence Matlock of Hopkinsville after conducting a search warrant at a home on West 2nd Street in Hopkinsville and finding a jar of synthetic spice, digital scales, and money.
The investigation was handled by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office Anti-Crime Unit. Matlock is charged with trafficking in synthetic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
