On August 1st, 2026, at 8:24 pm deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation at the intersection of East 9th Street and South Liberty Street.
During the stop, a law enforcement K9 alerted on the vehicle, and a search found Marijuana along with synthetic Marijuana.
The driver, 31-year-old Tyisha Redd of Hopkinsville, and her passenger, 43-year-old Bishop Loving of Hopkinsville, were taken into custody.
A search warrant was obtained for his home, and a large quantity of suspected synthetic Marijuana, Marijuana, crack cocaine, Marijuana wax, edibles, a digital scale, and various unknown pills were found.
Loving is charged with possession of Marijuana, trafficking in synthetic drugs, trafficking in Marijuana, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine), first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (drug unspecified), and prescription-controlled substance not in proper container.
Redd was charged with possession of Marijuana, trafficking in synthetic drugs, and failure to or improper signal.
