We are very proud to welcome Deputy Stalin John Vallecer to patrol after he completed basic training at the Department of Criminal Justice Training Facility in Madisonville on Thursday.
The over-20-week-long academy provided him with training in several areas, including patrol procedures, physical training, vehicle operations, defensive tactics, criminal law, traffic and DUI, firearms, criminal investigations, cultural awareness, bias-related crimes, and tactical responses to crisis situations.
Vallecer began at the Christian County Sheriff’s Office in December 2024 as a court security deputy but will now transition to patrol.
During the ceremony, Vallecer received the outstanding performance award for physical fitness, and he was also awarded for outstanding leadership as an adjutant.
