On August 20th, 2026, at 7:50 pm deputies were called to a single-vehicle wreck at Pembroke Road and Faultless Road.
A car driven by 40-year-old Amber Jeannice of Hopkinsville was traveling westbound when it ran off the road, hit a street sign, then an embankment, before overturning several times and coming to a stop in the roadway.
She was found walking around after the crash and refused medical attention several times, but while performing field sobriety tests, an ambulance was called back to the scene to check on her.
Jeannice was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to the hospital. She was found to have a DUI-suspended license, and she was then charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence second offense, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, and driving on a DUI-suspended license.
