On August 22nd, 2026, at 2:55 am deputies noticed a flashlight under a vehicle on the side of the road on Interstate 169 around the 22-mile marker.
A vehicle was found parked around 150 feet away from it with no lights on.
64-year-old David Henderson of Nashville was found around the original vehicle, and he was wearing long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, gloves, a ski mask, and goggles.
He claimed he was asked to change a flat tire on the vehicle, but there weren’t any signs of a tire being changed or being flat.
He gave the wrong name for the owner of the vehicle and was found to have a saw, a saw blade, and a pry bar in his possession. Henderson was arrested and charged with possession of burglary tools.
