On October 13th, the investigation into 44-year-old Arturo Cruz-Vargas, who had a video showing child sexual abuse material, led to a search warrant for his phone and more files being located.
He is now charged with 1134 counts of possessing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under 12 years old.

A cyber tip from the Kentucky ICAC Task Force about a file on a storage provider started an investigation leading to the arrest of 44-year-old Arturo Cruz-Vargas on the charge of possessing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under 12 years old.
He claimed he downloaded the video while searching websites for his friend’s son, who was kidnapped in Mexico approximately 3 to 4 years ago.
