Christian County, KY – On the evening of May 6, 2025, a Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy investigating a report of a transient encampment near the 13000 block of Fort Campbell Boulevard discovered suspected fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.
Larry Sloan, Jr
The Deputy contacted four individuals at the site. One, identified as 52-year-old Larry Sloan Jr. of Clarksville, TN, admitted to possessing marijuana and later acknowledged the presence of additional narcotics. A search of the tent, conducted with consent, revealed needles and baggies containing suspected fentanyl.
Sloan Jr. accepted full responsibility and was arrested and taken to the Christian County Jail on the following charges:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Fentanyl)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Possession of Marijuana
