On February 24th, 2026 at approximately 7:03 pm Deputies executed a search warrant on Locust St. after an investigation was conducted with a traffic stop. 28-year old Jevartaye Thomas and 25-year-old Makayla Holmes of Hopkinsville, KY. Holmes was charged with Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor. Thomas was charged with Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Trafficking in Marijuana (2nd or greater offense, enhancement) Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and several traffic offenses. Both were transported to the Christian County Jail.
