On July 17th, 2026, deputies responded to a court-ordered set-out on Tobacco Road, and 33-year-old Kevin Okum of Hopkinsville fled on foot from them but was quickly apprehended.
He was found to be in possession of two firearms. Okum is charged with third-degree fleeing or evading police, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
