On July 20th, 2026, at 11:31 pm deputies were called to the hospital for two people who were hit by a vehicle during a disturbance.
The incident happened on Lafayette Road with 19-year-old Christian Babb of Hopkinsville unlawfully entering an apartment and assaulting a female inside.
The argument continued outside between Babb and two females, with Babb then putting her vehicle in reverse with the door still open, hitting a female and a man with the door.
Babb then accelerated forward, hitting a second female before leaving.
The two females suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital by private vehicle.
Babb was arrested and charged with first-degree assault, second-degree burglary, leaving the scene of an accident – failure to render aid or assistance, second-degree assault, and second-degree assault domestic violence.
