On August 8th, 2026, at 5:48 pm deputies stopped a vehicle at MSU Drive and Fort Campbell Boulevard for speeding.
During the stop, the driver, 20-year-old Jwon Thomas of Hopkinsville, consented to a search of the vehicle, leading to the discovery of a plastic bag containing several unmarked pills that tested positive for a controlled substance.
He was arrested and charged with speeding, reckless driving, and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified).
