On August 31st, 2026, at 9:56 pm deputies stopped a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Randal Bickers of Madisonville on Howell Street for failing to use a turn signal and not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign.
During the stop, drug paraphernalia could be seen in the vehicle, and he told deputies that syringes with meth inside them would be found inside the vehicle.
He was found to have a suspended license and no insurance. He was arrested and charged with possession of meth second offense, disregarding a stop sign, failure to or improper signal, rim or frame obstructing lettering or decal on plate, failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance, operating on a suspended or revoked license, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bickers told deputies he was interested in the local rehabilitation support services in our court system.
