Two Charged In Christian County Drug Investigation

An investigation last week by the United States Army Criminal Investigation Division and the Christian County Sheriff’s Office Anti-Crime Unit led to the arrest of 38-year-old Eric Flynn and 32-year-old Riyad Baker Jr., both of Oak Grove.

The investigation led to a warrant for Flynn, who is an active-duty soldier at Fort Campbell, charging him with first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

After being arrested on the warrant during a traffic stop, Flynn admitted to having cocaine in his possession.

Baker was arrested at a home on Pacific Avenue, where a search warrant was conducted after he sold cocaine and firearms several times to investigators.

The investigation started in April with both agencies working together to make the arrest.
