On September 9th, 2026, deputies assisted Hopkinsville Police in pursuing a robbery suspect who was fleeing in a vehicle.
The pursuit ended on Butler Road at Gospel Peace Road, where deputies used a precision immobilization technique and took the driver, 19-year-old Mchale Lewis-Manning of Hopkinsville, into custody.
The car caught fire shortly after the arrest. Lewis-Manning has been charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree criminal mischief, first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, reckless driving, and speeding.
