On October 1st, 2026, at 7:17 pm, deputies were sent to a cell phone crash-detection alert on Forest Park Boulevard.
When they arrived, they found an SUV driven by 40-year-old Dishae Poindexter of Hopkinsville that had hit a large brick mailbox.
She showed several signs of being under the influence of alcohol, including slurred speech and the odor of alcohol on her breath.
After the field sobriety test, she was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal mischief and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
While at the jail, she consented to an Intoxilyzer test that showed 0.247.
