On October 13th, 2026, deputies attempted to stop a car driven by 51-year-old John Hill on McLean Street for a traffic violation, and he failed to stop.
The vehicle never got over 45 mph, and the pursuit ended on East 7th Street, where deputies blocked his vehicle with the help of Hopkinsville Police.
During the pursuit, he tossed a meth pipe out the window and was found with more meth and marijuana in his possession, along with drug paraphernalia, after the pursuit.
Hill is charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, possession of meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
