On October 14th, 2026, at 12:07 am deputies were called for a crash on Interstate 169 at the Lovers Lane exit.
An SUV was traveling northbound when it entered the median, hit a guardrail, then the Lovers Lane bridge, causing the vehicle to overturn.
The driver was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to the hospital for injuries. This crash remains under investigation.
